The CEO of Silent Hill 2 Remake developer Bloober Team has said that the survival horror revamp isn’t the end of its ‘adventure’ with Konami.
Speaking during an interview with Bankier, Piotr Babieno all but confirmed that the studio will continue working with Konami beyond Silent Hill 2 Remake, although that doesn’t necessarily mean we’ll be getting another Silent Hill project from them.
“We can expect that this is not the end of the adventure with Konami,” he said.

Silent Hill 2 Remake is pencilled in for release on October 8, 2024 for PS5 and PC. The game was originally announced during a special Silent Hill Transmission event in October 2022, during which Konami announced its plans to resurrect the psychological horror franchise with a number of titles.
Team Silent developed the original version of Silent Hill 2 back in 2001, and follows James Sunderland, who travels to the foggy town after receiving a letter from his deceased wife, Mary. The remake looks set to stick closely to the source material, but it will offer a bigger adventure that should last players around 16-18 hours, while a recent trailer for the game confirms it’ll be a console exclusive to PS5 for one year.
