Borderlands 4 Unveils Robot Cowboy C4SH As Its First DLC Vault Hunter

The first Vault Hunter DLC for Borderlands 4 has been revealed by Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford during the Tokyo Game Show last week, with the new character confirmed to be a robot cowboy known as C4SH.

C4SH worked at a casino as a dealer but later become disillusioned working in a customer-centric gig, so instead decided to quit and take on the role of a Vault Hunter. His abilities include throwing playing cards, which sounds very similar to Gambit of X-Men fame. Pitchford confirmed that the DLC will add “new story content” alongside this new Vault Hunter, and is included in the Borderlands 4 Vault Hunter Pack in the Super Deluxe Edition.

Borderlands 4 was released earlier this month for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, although the game was plagued by various technical issues including frame rate drops and criticised for its lack of FOV slider on consoles. Last week, Gearbox patched the game to add a FOV slider for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions, as well as implementing various stability and performance improvements.
