Gearbox Software has unleashed the official launch trailer for Bulletstorm Full Clip Edition on PS4 and Xbox One.
The Bulletstorm Full Clip Edition release date is set for April 7, 2017, and features a host of improvements over the original 2011 shooter. Chiefly, the remastered version includes enhanced texture resolution, as well as support for 4K on PS4 Pro, plus the addition of the Overkill Campaign mode allowing you to gain access to all the game’s weapons from the get-go, plus six new Echo maps.
In addition, those who pre-order the game will be able to obtain the Duke Nukem’s Bulletstorm Tour DLC, which allows you to step into the hefty boots of the bubble-gum chewing, alien-ass kicker himself, featuring re-recorded dialogue provided by Jon St. John.
Bulletstorm was originally released in early 2011 for the PS3, PC, and Xbox 360, garnering positive reviews for its high-octane shooting and emphasis on bagging creative kills, not to mention its trademark humor. Despite its critical success, the game failed to set tills alight, with Epic Games confirming the game failed to turn a profit for the company; as such, plans for Bulletstorm 2 were quickly shelved.
