Wolf & Wood has announced that C-Smash VRS — New Dimension, a new version of PSVR 2’s C-Smash VRS featuring a third-person perspective for PS5, is launching in late Summer 2024.
Available as a free update for existing owners of C-Smash VRS, New Dimension is now available to preorder and includes a wealth of ‘innovative’ features for VR and non-VR players, according to the press blurb. Ryan Bousfield, founder of Wolf & Wood, commented:
It’s exciting because the focus is on one thing, how it feels. We already have loads of game modes and features, so for us, this is all about giving the player that VR ‘presence’ but through the analogue sticks of their controller.

In addition to the third-person view, C-Smash VRS New Dimension also features a bunch of new modes including Head-to-Head, Firewall and Quickshot, and Training, alongside an ‘unforgiving’ AI BOT.
