Call of Doodee – cleaning up dog mess since 2013
You just can't make it up. Activision is locked in horns over a patent called “Call of Doodee” which they feel infringes on their Call of Duty patent.
Call of Doodee is a dog poo-scooping service based in California. According to the official website, they've been operating since 2013 by removing doggy doo doo on behalf of their community for a price.
“By calling us, we assure quality service with no fuss. Leave your friends waste behind and enjoy more of your time. As business owners, we envision ours to be like no other,” reads a snippet from the About Us section.

Activision has applied for extension to oppose the patent from the dog mess cleaning service and have until December 31 to put forward a valid claim of infringement.
In the meantime, Activision is making a fortune off the back of Call of Duty World War II, which released on November 3 for PS4 and other platforms.
Among the best PS4 Black Friday deals, Call of Duty WWII sits at the top of the charts for most games sold over the weekend.
So, if you have some dog mess wanting cleaning and you live in the California area, go and support Call of Doodee before the ban-hammers comes down on its name!
