Activision’s Philip Earl has announced that the firm’s currently hammering away on a Call of Duty game for Sony’s newly-unveiled NGP, claiming the title “will set the bar for the next generation of portable gaming.”
Speaking on stage at a Tokyo press conference earlier today, Earl commented, "We believe that NGP will change the way people play games on the go, and what better way to prove that, than with Call of Duty."
"When considering the OLED screen, dual analogue sticks, touch screens, and social connectivity options, the possibilities are endless."
No details have been revealed on the project as of yet, but we’ll be sure to keep our eyes peeled for any fresh info. NGP is due for release in Japan in late 2011.
