Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Tops UK Charts, PS5 Version Is The Big Winner

In news that’s unlikely to surprise anyone, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has taken pole position on the UK All Format Chart, with the PS5 version of the military shooter sequel taking the lion’s share of sales.

The PS5 version of Modern Warfare 2 took 53 percent of all sales at launch, with the PS4 version of the shooter taking up 18 percent.

Keep in mind that this is only for boxed sales, so we have no idea how well the game sold digitally on all systems. However, Sony has confirmed it recorded the biggest PS Store launch for a Call of Duty game ever, so it’s obviously selling like hot cakes.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 managed to fend off competition from FIFA 23, which still managed reach second place despite having already been out for weeks.
