Call of Duty: Vanguard on PS5 features a number of enhancements over its PS4 counterpart, chief among which includes faster load times thanks to the SSD. However, a video doing the rounds on Twitter has revealed just how much quicker the PS5 version actually is.
As you can see in the video below, the PS5 version of Sledgehammer Games’ World War II-era shooter loads up a mission in mere seconds. By comparison, the PS4 and PS4 Pro versions clock in at over one minute, with the former taking the longest at 01.13.06.
Obviously this sort of thing isn’t too surprising nowadays as PS5 versions of games usually have the advantage from a technical point of view. Still, the difference is pretty significant; for some, it’s enough to sway them into buying the next-generation version of a game.
Call of Duty: Vanguard was released for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One on November 5, 2021.
