Activision is launching the eagerly anticipated Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 today, and if you’re eager to get stuck in right away, it’s worth noting that the game’s 70GB console download is now live.
Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 is a separate experience to the original Call of Duty: Warzone, and as such your progress and items will not transfer over. However, if you still want to play the first game, you can, although it’s now offline for 12 days before relaunching as Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera.

The original Call of Duty: Warzone was released back in March 2020 as a free-to-play companion to the previous year’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and has since been updated to incorporate the likes of Black Ops Cold War and Vanguard.
