Can You Play PS3 Games On PS5?
PS5 is not capable of playing PS3 games natively. In other words, inserting your old PS3 game discs into your PS5 will not work, nor are you able to play your existing digital library. However, PS3 games are available (albeit in limited quantity so far) as part of the PS Plus Premium games lineup, which of course you have to pay for. Unlike PSP PS1 and PS3 titles, PS3 games can only be streamed from the service and not downloaded to your PS5.
