Capcom’s confirmed that fresh clobber for Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will be up for grabs on PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE from March 1, 2011.
The alternative outfits include a Street Fighter I costume for Ryu, a S.T.A.R.S. uniform for Chris Redfield, a Sparda guise for Dante, plus fresh getups for both Captain America and Iron Man. Outfits will set you back $5/400 Microsoft Points.
Concurrently, Capcom will also unleash its inaugural Shadow Mode DLC pack the same day. For those unaware, this lets gamers compete against “custom-built computer opponents, modelled after famous players and specific themed teams.”
First up is producer Ryota Niitsuma, alongside Shadow teams for Akihito Kadowaki (associate producer) and a Q&A team leader. Capcom’s promised that more will follow, featuring “some personalities you already know.”
Lastly, the Japanese giant confirmed that Jill Valentine and Shuma-Gorath will be available for download “at a later date.”
