Japanese publisher and developer Capcom has registered the trademark ‘DMC’, which according to the filing, pertains to an assortment of mediums including “game software” to “ringtones” as well as wallpapers for mobile phones.
Speculation has been rife as of late that a Devil May Cry 5 announcement at the Tokyo Game Show this week is imminent, with the common belief among industry folk that the game’s being handled by British-based studio, Ninja Theory.
In fact, the developer has already confirmed via Twitter that it’ll be lifting the lid on a new game at the Japanese trade show this week, adding yet more fuel to the fire that it is indeed working on a fifth entry in the stylish action series.
