Trophy tracking website Exophase has revealed the full list of Castlevania Requiem PS4 trophies ahead of the game’s release in a couple of days on the 26th October.
We won’t provide exact details here. But rest assured, like the game’s themselves, obtaining that coveted platinum will be no easy feat.
Castlevania Requiem PS4 Trophies – How Many Are There?
One thing we can say, without spoiling the surprise for the die-hard fans eagerly awaiting the Friday launch day, is that there a quite a few trophies to collect.
Amounting to (spoilers for those who want to go into the Castlevania Requiem completely blind) 44 in total. Some of which are as simple as beating a boss or trying out a particular weapon, while others require slightly more skill/patience/something approaching the reflexes of a Jedi master.
About Castlevania Requiem
Developed by Konami and set to release exclusively on the PS4, Castlevania Requiem is a compendium comprised of two games: Symphony of the Night and Rondo of Blood.
The former is a true PSOne classic and surely one of the best games in the entire series. While Rondo of Blood, having debuted way back in 1993 on the SNES, is a slightly more recent addition to the PlayStation family. Having been ported to the PSP as late as 2007/2008.
Naturally, in preparation for their current gen release, both games have benefitted from a number of graphical and performance updates to make use of the new hardware.
“This includes 4K/1080p upscaling, multiple high-resolution backgrounds, different rendering options such as smoothing” reported the PlayStation Blog last month. Whilst also making use of “the DualShock 4’s vibration, analogue stick and speaker, with the latter meaning you’ll hear a cool little chime when you pick up an item”.
We’ll be publishing our Castlevania Requiem review in the next couple of days, so be sure to check back with us then for our thoughts on Konami’s latest.
