Codemasters has let slip that it is working on a third instalment in the Colin McRae: DiRT franchise.
Confirmation comes by way of an interview with IGN in which the publisher discusses the weather effects in its F1 2010 game:
"One of the added benefits is that the weather system we’ve developed will now become part of the EGO engine so it can feed into all of our future projects such as DiRT 3,” said the game’s chief designer.
Obviously that’s all the details we have on the game at present, though with any luck we’ll see it in action next month at E3. Stay tuned.
