Pearl Abyss has announced that Crimson Desert has now surpassed six million sales worldwide since its launch in March 2026.
“Your adventures and tales continue to make the journey of Crimson Desert even more special,” said the company. “Once again, thank you to every Greymane who has stepped into Pywel and experienced the world of Crimson Desert in their own way.” Prior to this, it was revealed that Crimson Desert had hit four million sales just a few weeks after launch, and hit the five million milestone less than a month after launch.
Pearl Abyss has been busy patching Crismon Desert over the past couple of months with various improvements and bug fixes, with the latest update arriving last Friday complete with a pinball mini-game. Prior to that, the studio announced that it’s working on DLC for Crimson Desert and revealed new updates would be focussed on combat content and story improvements.
