At its annual press event, NIS America announced its bringing the cute, horror PlayStation Vita game Yomawari: Night Alone to North America and Europe for release in late 2016.
Developed by NIS in Japan, Yomawari stars a young girl who loses her dog Poro while walking him at dusk when a tragic accident occurs. When she returns home without her furry friend, her sister goes out to search for Poro. Anxious, the girl ventures out to look for both her sister and dog only to find the world spooky with spirits. Now she must survive the night, discover clues, and find her loved ones.
Yomawari has an uneasiness to it due to the adorable chibi look of the character designs contrasting with the ominous story and dark yet pretty painted-looking environments.
Japanese horror fans should keep an eye on Yomawari when it launches later this year.
