A new performance test for the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of Cyberpunk 2077 has revealed that both editions of the game suffer from issues related to frame rate.
Although capable of running at 60 FPS, they both suffer drops, although in the case of the PS5 release, there’s no way to lock it at 30 FPS like the Xbox Series X version. This follows on from reports that the current-generation editions of Cyberpunk 2077 run extremely poorly at present, leaving the PC edition the clear winner.
Cyberpunk 2077 is out today for PS4, PC and Xbox One, and is playable on new consoles via backwards compatibility. CD Projekt RED will launch a separate PS5 and Xbox Series X/S version in 2021, so hopefully those will perform much better.
