Assassin's Creed Valhalla CD Projekt Red CyberPunk 2077 News PS4 PS5 Ubisoft UK Charts

Cyberpunk 2077 Sales Drop By 80%, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Reclaims UK Top Spot

Sales of CD Projekt RED‘s Cyberpunk 2077 have dropped 80% week-on-week in the UK, relinquishing the top of the UK charts to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which thanks to some pre-Christmas price has rocketed back up the charts.

Cyberpunk 2077 has obviously faced many problems since its release due to the poor performance of the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game. However, this dip in sales is pretty normal for a major release, as a similar thing happened with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla when it first launched.

It should be noted that the Top 5 is highly competitive at the moment, as there’s only 9,000 units separating Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Unsurprisingly, FIFA 21 is also performing well still, with sales jumping by 40%.
