Destiny 2 is scheduled for release on PS4 and Xbox One on September 6, 2017, with a PC launch following in October. The upcoming shared-world sequel takes place following the events of Destiny: Rise of Iron, and sees the Tower under siege from a deadly Cabal unit known as The Red Legion, forcing the Guardians to retreat and losing their gear in the process, meaning you won’t be able to transfer all your loot over to the sequel.
Both the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X versions of Destiny 2 will not run the game at 60fps, although one developer believes this would have been possible had Bungie utilised dedicated servers. One of the biggest new features for Destiny 2 is the revamped multiplayer mode, which focuses on 4v4 battles, plus a larger open-world ripe with side quests known as Adventures for players to tackle.
