Bungie has provided new details on the open-world setting players will get to explore in the highly anticipated Destiny 2.
Speaking during its livestream event last night, the former Halo developer confirmed that the game’s setting will offer a ton of activities to indulge in, much more than the original Destiny provided back in 2014. For starters, you’ll bump into NPCs while exploring the game world who will give you side quests, which Destiny 2 labels ‘Adventures.’

These can include quests such as hunting down treasure and unearthing Lost Sectors, where you’ll face off against a boss before using his key to open a treasure chest. Public Events also return, but they also come equipped with Heroic Objectives to spice things up.
One of the biggest changes Destiny 2 offers is the ability to launch all activities from the world without going into orbit first, including firing up the Director and travelling from planet to planet. In total, the game includes four new worlds such as Titan, Lo, Nessus, and Earth’s European Dead Zone.

The game receive a season pass that includes “Expansion I and Expansion II, offering brand new story missions, cooperative activities, competitive multiplayer, and a wealth of new weapons, armor, and gear."
