Destiny 2 update hotfix fixes a lot of stuff, read on for patch notes

destiny 2 update

There’s a new Destiny 2 update today, but it’s not adding any new content, but rather, it’s rolled out to fix a fair amount of stuff. In case you were wondering why there’s no prompt on your PlayStation 4, that’s because it’s a back-end update, or what devs call a "hotfix," which means the studio is tweaking all of the stuff on their end and it’s implemented once players connect to the online servers.

Just what’s included in Destiny 2 hotfix 1.0.1.3? Check out the update notes below.

Destiny 2 Hotfix (9/18/17)

1.0.1.3 The one about post launch fixes.

Items

  • Fixed an issue that caused players to not receive Man O’ War Linear Fusion Rifle Quest Reward when they have a full weapon inventory

    • Players can obtain their missing Man O’ War from Asher Mir on IO

UI
  • Fixed an issue where the Prism modifier did not persistently display the currently featured element

    • Prism will now display a brief screen effect when the element changes to increase visibility
    • This will also resolve an issue impacting the Momentum modifier

General

  • Fixed an issue where a Raid object was receiving an unintended amount of damage from Wardcliff Coil
  • Fixed an issue where completing a Meditation before selecting it from Ikora would hide that Meditation and prevent players from completing it receiving appropriate rewards.
  • Fixed a rare memory leak that would result in a Matchmaking crash

If you’re looking forward for a massive title update from Bungie, don’t fret, I’m fairly certain we’ll be getting that soon given the game is an online affair.

In other Destiny 2 news, check out what the all-time high for concurrent players are now according to Bungie. If that’s not enough that the game is making some serious cash, Activision has also announced that Destiny 2 has the largest day one sales globally on the PlayStation Store as well.
