Destiny 2 Xur location details leak, big changes inbound

The first details on the Destiny 2 Xur location have leaked online via the official strategy guide for Bungie’s upcoming shared-world shooter.

According to the guide, Bungie will be changing up how the Agent of the Nine will serve Guardians in the highly anticipated sequel.

For starters, Xur will no longer be visiting social spaces, instead making his way to the four available patrol areas (European Dead Zone, Nessus, Io, and Titan). The exotic vendor will spawn in public sectors only, limiting the amount of areas he can potentially show up.

Destiny 2 has also reportedly included a Trophy for finding Xur the first time, which in itself will be quite a challenge considering he has four possible locations to flog his wears at.

Elsewhere, Xur will no longer be accepting Strange Coins (in fact, we don’t even know if these items will be in the game) in exchange for weapons and armor, instead taking a new item known as Legendary Shards.

In terms of Xur’s stock, the guide mentions that he’ll be flogging exotic items as per usual, although didn’t go into any further details on the matter. However, if it’s anything like the original Destiny, we can expect the usual array of armor, weapons, and other specialised equipment.

Destiny 2 is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6, 2017, with a PC version hitting stores on October 24.

According to recent reports, the first batch of Destiny 2 DLC will be titled ‘The Curse of Osiris’ and features the Vex as a returning enemy.
