Destiny players may wish to take note that there will be no weekly reset on Tuesday, September 8 as per the usual practice.

Bungie has confirmed that the weekly reset will not resume its usual schedule until The Taken King is released the following Tuesday, September 15.
“When Destiny 2.0.0 update releases, there will be no Weekly or Daily events (Nightfall, Daily Heroic Story, Heroic Strike) available for the week of September 8 – September 14, 2015.”
In other words, there won’t be a new Nightfall, Weekly Heroic Strike or Daily Heroic Story for this week. However, it’s worth remembering that the Weekly Heroic is being dropped in The Taken King and replaced with a new strike playlist.
Still, it’s not all bad news. The arrival of update 2.0.0 tomorrow will give players a chance to take the new Crucible maps for a spin ahead of The Taken King’s launch next week.
It was recently revealed that Destiny was delayed by a year due to a series of major story changes.
