Destiny: weekly Nightfall reset for February 2, 2016

Bungie has flicked the reset switch on Destiny’s game world for another week, which means Guardians have some new challenges to tackle for those still plugging away at the polarizing shared-world shooter.

First up, the Nightfall has been switched up, so you’ll now be facing the Cerberus Vae mission with Specialist, Fresh Troops, Exposure, and Trickle modifiers present. Over in the Court of Oryx meanwhile, the Tier 3 boss has been refreshed to include Balwur as your latest challenge.

Finally, the Prison of Elders arenas have been switched up again to feature The Forever Eater at Level 32 and Machine Wrath at Level 34.

Destiny was released in September 2014 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. The game received three expansion packs, including The Dark Below, House of Wolves, and The Taken King, the latter being the biggest DLC for the game to date.

Moving forward, Bungie has confirmed that it intends to offer event-based content rather than expansions to continue to flesh out the Destiny experience. One such example is the Sparrow Racing League, which was made available for a few weeks before Christmas, and the upcoming Crimson Days event in February

Bungie has also said that Destiny will receive a major event at some point before spring 2016, which will be the biggest update to the shooter since The Taken King. Rumors also indicate that the planned sequel to Destiny has been delayed beyond its planned September 2016 window.
