Destiny: weekly Nightfall reset for July 5, 2016

Bungie has ushered in a fresh set of challenges for Guardians to face as part of Destiny’s weekly server reset.

Kicking things off is the Nightfall, which has been refreshed for another week; you’ll now be facing the Cerberus Vae III Strike, with modifiers Epic, Arc Burn, Brawler, Fresh Troops, and Ironclad.

The Challenge of Elders this week is as follows: Round 1 – Wretched Knight (Hive), Round 2 – Seditious Mind (Vex), and Round 3 – Keksis (Fallen).

Those interesting in taking on the Court of Oryx this week will have to face off against Thalnok. Finally, the King’s Fall Raid challenge this week is Oryx himself, so prepare for brutal fight.

Destiny 2 coming to PS4 in 2017, new Rise of Iron expansion hitting Destiny this fall

Bungie recently outlined the various content changes that will come into effect from August, which includes reduced events for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners of the shared-world shooter.

Destiny will receive its fourth major expansion, Rise of Iron, on September 20 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. In addition, publisher Activision confirmed earlier this year that Destiny 2 is currently in development and will be released at some point in 2017.

Destiny was released for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 in September 2014. To date, Bungie has supported the game with three expansions, namely The Dark BelowHouse of Wolves, and last September’s The Taken King.

In recent months, the former Halo developer has kept gamers entertained with time-based events, such as Festival of the Lost, Sparrow Racing League, and Crimson Days.
