Bungie has teased on Instagram that Destiny‘s weekly merchant, Xur, Agent of the Nine, will showcase new exotic gear tomorrow for purchase in the upcoming expansion, The Taken King.
"My will is not my own, Guardian. The Nine have commanded me to reveal Exotic treasures you may discover in your future. I will speak with you tomorrow. – Xur, Agent of the Nine," the post reads.
Xur turns up at the Tower or Reef every Friday morning (U.K. time) to flog Guardians a range of exotic goods, including weapons, armor and engrams in exchange for Strange Coins.
From the look of things, he may be ready to make an unscheduled appearance tomorrow, however. Either way, it’s probably a good idea to keep an eye on Bungie’s Instagram account.
The Taken King is due out on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 in September. The expansion will include a range of new content, and will also replace Peter Dinklage as the voice of Ghost with Nolan North. In addition, The Taken King eschews the light point system with a more traditional levelling process.
