Destruction AllStars developer Lucid Games has announced a slew of new content for the combat title to celebrate the release of Sony’s newly-revamped PS Plus in Europe.
First up is Rise, which launches on June 22 alongside the new PS Plus in Europe. This event will host the first community challenge where the entire community has the chance of working together towards a shared goal, which will reward players with exclusive cosmetics.
The new game mode, Jumpshot, is a team-based mode that requires players think fast on foot and behind the wheel while you attempt to score points with your teammates. Meanwhile, the game’s upcoming patch will inject some new life into existing game modes, with Blitz for example receiving competitive seasons for the first time.
Read more details below.
Within our competitive system, we’ve revamped the ranking system to better track your skill level and match you up with opponents of similar skill. We’ve also added brand new and prestigious cosmetic rewards which you can earn exclusively from the Blitz playlist, letting all the other AllStars know just who came out of a competitive season as a reigning champion!
Blitz is available on weekends in Destruction AllStars and each competitive season lasts for six weeks, it’s all about making a lasting impression in a short amount of time if you want to get the crowd on your side.
