Florain Le Bihan, Principal Game Designer at DICE, has revealed during an interview with Tech & Co the Battlefield 6 Performance Mode will run the game at 60 FPS on all consoles, including Xbox Series S.
Developer Battlefield Studios has been working on optimising as a main priority, noting that the team wants Battlefield 6 to not only be a “graphically super beautiful” game but also one that “runs on all configurations,” be it PC or consoles. As such, a lot of effort has been made to optimise Battlefield 6 so that the developers “guarantee 60 FPS on all experiences on consoles,” with the frame rate clocking in higher on PC and PS5 Pro.
