Capcom’s Dino Crisis is finally available for PS5 & PS4 as part of the latest PlayStation Plus Premium content drop, but it’s quickly emerged that the re-release is pretty barebones, with no Trophy support available.
Not only that, but users have quickly discovered that, unlike many of the PSOne games available on Sony’s premium service, you can’t purchase it separately; you have to subscribe to PS Plus Premium to access Dino Crisis. Understandably, fans aren’t exactly happy with this, as Dino Crisis has been long-requested to be added to PS Plus.

It should be noted that Capcom is no stranger to this sort of thing, as its PS Plus Premium release of Resident Evil: Director’s Cut is also not available to purchase separately. However, if you own the PS3 version of Dino Crisis back when it was first re-released, you should be able to claim the game without having to subscribe to PS Plus Premium.
Dino Crisis was originally released for the PlayStation back in 1999, and spawned two sequels in 2000’s Dino Crisis 2 and 2003’s Dino Crisis 3. The franchise has been on hiatus for more than 20 years, and Capcom still hasn’t announced any plans to bring it back.
