DmC: Devil May Cry developer Ninja Theory has confirmed that it is not working on a sequel to the 2013 hack-’n-slash title, but instead has plans for a new IP.
The studio confirmed the news on Twitter, stating, “We’ll be announcing a new project soon, which is a new IP.”
NInja Theory’s latest title will be unveiled during a conference on August 12 at GDC Europe, according reports.
DmC: Devil May Cry was released in January last year and received positive reviews from critics. It has sold 1.5 million copies worldwide as of March 2014.
