Jeff Grubb has revealed on the latest episode of Game Mess Decides that the PlayStation Showcase is unlikely to play host to Dragon Age Dreadwolf and Ghost of Tsushima 2.
I might have just sniffed out that..well, two things that won’t be there if that helps anybody. It doesn’t sound like Ghost of Tsushima 2 will be there. It sounds like it probably won’t be there. And the other one, Dragon Age Inquisition probably won’t be there either.
And yes, that was a slip of the tongue on Jeff’s part as he obviously meant to say Dreadwolf instead of Inquisition. Regardless, it’s best to taper those expectations if you were hoping to see either of those games at the showcase.
Dragon Age Dreadwolf was notably absent in a recent timeline of releases for Electronic Arts through Q3 FY24, which indicates it won’t be out until mid-2024 at the earliest. As for Ghost of Tsushima 2, that hasn’t even been officially announced yet, but job listings at Sucker Punch Productions have pretty much confirmed it’s in the works.
