The LinkedIn profile for a senior cinematic animator at Electronic Arts has listed Dragon Age Dreadwolf for release in 2024, which does align with previous reports we’ve heard about the highly anticipated fantasy-RPG.
Kevin Scott lists the following description in the ‘experience’ portion of his profile: “Animated gameplay characters using mocap and hand keyed animation for Dragon Age: DreadWolf (2024 release).”
As previously reported, we’ve hear about a 2024 release for Dragon Age Dreadwolf earlier this year, with Jeff Grubb claiming that the game wouldn’t be out until at least Summer 2024. Back in October 2022, its as reported that Dragon Age Dreadwolf was playable from start to finish, having reached its Alpha milestone.
Dragon Age Dreadwolf is currently in development for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, and was originally announced back in December 2018 at The Game Awards. Developed began in 2015, and endured many shifts in design; its original incarnation, codenamed Joplin, was cancelled back in 2017 and restarted as the working title Morrison the following year.
