Dragon Quest III picks up as the only child of the great hero, Ortega, is summoned by the king of Aliahan to vanquish the villainous Baramos — a task that Ortega himself failed to accomplish years before. Players are accompanied by a loyal band of travelling companions to complete their task across a beautiful HD-2D world brimming with dungeons, towns and compelling characters.
The original version of Dragon Quest III, known as Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation and Dragon Warrior III in the US, was released in 1988 for the NES and later received an overhaul for the SNES in 1996 in Japan.
Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake is due out on November 14 for PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X/S.
