April Fools’ Day is over (not sure if we got away with our prank?) and we can now confirm – with hand truly on heart – that Dragon Quest Heroes II is definitely coming to PS3, PS4 and PS Vita.
Confirmed via the Japanese PlayStation Blog and the Dragon Quest Heroes promotional website, Square Enix’s action RPG will be directed by Dragon Quest veteran Yuji Horri and developed by Omega Force (Koei Tecmo).
Dragon Quest Heroes was released in Japan in February and is expected to hit North America and Europe exclusively on PS4 later this year. Media Create reports that it sales figures topped 594,000 units solid on its first week in Japan.
A release date for Dragon Quest Heroes II has yet to be confirmed and – although we can assume it will hit the west at some point – it’s only been announced for Japan.
