Dragon’s Dogma 2 Reportedly Runs At 30 FPS On PS5

Capcom‘s Dragon’s Dogma 2 is limited to 30 FPS for PS5, according to a rumour that has been doing the rounds over night.

As reported by PCFocus (who picked up the rumour from an unnamed Japanese insider), Dragon’s Dogma 2 is apparently not going to include a 60 FPS Performance Mode on Sony’s current-generation console. Capcom hasn’t confirmed anything about the game’s performance on consoles yet, which is unusual at this point considering the game is out in less than two months.

As previously reported, an IGN Japan preview confirmed that Dragon’s Dogma 2 will not feature multiple save files, so you’ll have to make do with having a single playthrough on the go and constantly overwrite your existing save file as you progress. Elsewhere, its director argued that travel in games needn’t be boring; you just have to make it fun to do for the players.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is pencilled in for a March 22, 2024 release on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
