Capcom has issued a warning to Dragon’s Dogma owners regarding the recent title update for the fantasy RPG, which has been discovered to corrupt game saves.
Writing on Capcom Unity, the publisher noted that the update has been found to render some save files for Dragon’s Dogma and expansion Dark Arisen corrupt. This means you won’t be able to continue saving or loading progress.
Players are advised to copy existing data to another storage device or the cloud as soon as possible, “especially if you are picking up the game for the first time in a while or switching over to Dark Arisen for the first time.”
Capcom also suggested that you play offline if you are experiencing any issues as it hammers out a fix for the problem.
“We’re exploring the issue currently and hope to have a solution as quickly as possible. Many apologies for the inconvenience.”
