Evolution Studios has confirmed that the PlayStation Plus Edition of DRIVECLUB is in the ‘final stages’ of development following a lengthy delay.
Speaking on Twitter, DRIVECLUB Game Director, Paul Rustchynsky, had the following exchange with a fellow gamer:
@undeadrocker666 We’re in the final stages of development now.

DRIVECLUB PS Plus Edition was originally due out alongside the full version of the racing title last October. However, the game was plagued by server issues at launch, and the PS Plus Edition was delayed.
Despite this, Sony has promised that the free trial would see a release at some point, and indeed this is the finally case. Hopefully we’ll hear about a release window shortly, possibly at E3 next week.
