Dying Light as a franchise has now sold 30 million units worldwide, with figures continuing to grow by the month. Dying Light 2 itself ranks as the ‘number one best-selling zombie game of 2022.’
Oleg Klapovskiy, Chief Publishing Officer at Techland, commented:
These outstanding numbers speak for themselves and confirm the success of the Dying Light franchise. We were able to achieve it only thanks to our awesome community – I want to use this opportunity to thank them again for their great support. We have ambitious plans not only to develop and further support the game, but also to expand to other medias.
Beyond that, April will see the launch of combat physics and brutality upgrades, TGG quests and gear transmog, with June dishing up a new night experience and roaming volatiles. Fresh parkour flow improvements will also be rolled out during the same month.
Dying Light 2 was released on February 4, 2022 for PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. You can read our review here.
