Techland and Deep Silver have unleashed the official launch trailer for Dying Light: The Following, the long-awaited expansion to 2015’s critically acclaimed zombie-themed action-adventure title.
Check it out below.
For those out of the loop, The Following introduces vehicles in the shape of zombie-killing buggies, a brand new location set on an infested island, plus a few other bits and bobs. The expansion is available to download from today via the PlayStation Store for $19.99.
However, those of you who haven’t yet sampled the parkour-fueled antics of the original Dying Light will be pleased to know that you can soon pick up the Dying Light Enhanced Edition on PS4.
In addition to featuring a copy of Dying Light with all-new features, such as improved AI, enhanced visuals, and Bounties, the Enhanced Edition also throws in a copy of The Following expansion. The bundle hits the U.S. today and arrives in Europe on February 12.
Dying Light was released on the PS4, PC, and Xbox One this time last year, and proved a critical and commercial success, selling over five million copies worldwide to date. Techland hasn’t confirmed a sequel as of yet, although it has suggested that a possible follow-up may be too ambitious for current-generation hardware.
