Electronic Arts has revealed that its Medal of Honor reboot saw “great” first day sales in North America following its release earlier this week.
While the publishing giant opted not to divulge any specific figures, the firm said the Afghanistan-based shooter “is well in position for an outstanding holiday" ahead of its release in the UK tomorrow.
Meanwhile, U.S. retail giant GameStop also reckons the FPS is on track for a solid performance at retail: "We anticipate Medal of Honor to be one of the biggest video game titles launched this year," commented merchandising boss, Bob McKenzie.
"This underscores how video gaming has emerged as mainstream entertainment."
Stay tuned for our review of Medal of Honor in the next few days.
