FromSoftware’s upcoming Elden Ring DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree, is unlikely to see the light of day this year, and may not be released until April 2024 at the earliest.
That’s at least according to Kadogawa Corporation, which touched base on FromSoftware in a recent report where it mentions Elden Ring DLC in the medium or long term section. In contrast to this, Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is mentioned as helping to alleviate the decrease in sales and profits during the first quarter of the year.
Unlike that game, the report does not take into consideration the sales and profits generated by Shadow of the Erdtree during the current fiscal year, which indicates it may not see the light of day until Spring 2024 at the earliest.
Elden Ring was released in February 2022 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. Earlier this week it was revealed that the game had sold over 20.5 million copies worldwide.
