Elden Ring Fans Won’t Have To Wait Too Long For Its Next Reveal, Says Journalist

GamesBeat journalist Jeff Grubb has revealed that the next Elden Ring reveal isn’t going to be more than a few months away, after the game failed to show up at The Game Awards 2020 last week. Not that it was ever confirmed for the show, mind.

Speaking in a video published after the awards, Grubb implied that we won’t have to wait too long to see the highly anticipated FromSoftware title in action again.

They’re obviously working on this game… they didn’t show it here, but I think they probably could have if they wanted to. I think it’s at that state. But let’s just give it a month or two more.

Here’s one thing I’ve heard that I can say: have a little bit more patience, but just a little bit more. That doesn’t mean days, and I don’t think it quite means weeks, but it doesn’t mean months and months and months.

Elden Ring was announced at E3 2019 and is currently in development for PS4, PC and Xbox One, although at this point we imagine it’ll also come to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. The game is a collaboration between creator Hidetaka Miyazaki and fantasy writer George R.R. Martin, best known for his work on A Song of Ice and Fire.
