Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that Elden Ring has surpassed 16.6 million units in shipments and digital sales worldwide.
Speaking during its financial results for the three-month period ended June 30, 2022, and follows on from the 13.4 million units shipped in mid-May. This means that the fantasy-RPG has moved an additional 3.2 million units since that period, proving the game is still as popular as ever.
Earlier this month it was reported that Elden Ring had hit 3.4 billion YouTube views in just 60 days, which eclipsed the efforts of both Grand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2.
In addition, the From Software-developed title has made it into the top 10 US best-selling premium games of all time.
