Elden Ring Nightreign Is Playable As A Trio Or Solo, But Doesn’t Support Two-Player Co-Op

Junya Ishizaki, the game director on Elden Ring: NIghtreign, has revealed that the upcoming fantasy action game can’t be played as a duo, but will allow players to team up for three-player co-op or tackle the game solo.

Speaking with IGN, Ishizaki-san clarified how the game can be played in terms of the number of players, stating it’s been designed with a trio in mind.

“The game is designed to be played as a three-person team, but you can play it as a solo player,” he said. When asked if it’s possible as a duo, he replied, “No, it’s either one-player or three-player.”
