FromSoftware announced Elden Ring Nightreign: The Forsaken Hollows DLC at today’s Asian developer-focused State of Play. The Forsaken Hollows DLC is set to release this December 4th, 2025, giving Elden Ring: Nightreign players something to look forward to for the holidays coming up.
The DLC showed off some new monsters for players to slay, as well as what looks like a new character wielding a magic book and a sword simultaneously.

FromSoftware’s parent company, Kadokawa, let the hat out of the back just yesterday, confirming that DLC for Nightreign was in development while simultaneously announcing that Nightreign had exceeded the company’s expectations. We didn’t think the announcement of The Forsaken Hollows would happen just a day later.

Elden Ring: Nightreign is a standalone co-op-centric title set in the Elden Ring universe and sees players teaming up in procedurally generated content. The game sees up to three players prepare over three in-game days to tackle a boss and emerge victorious.
