Elden Ring UK Sales Up By Nearly 500% Due To Release Of Shadow Of The Erdtree DLC

The release of Shadow of the Erdtree last month has seen sales of Elden Ring in the UK rise nearly 500%.

Elden Ring sales increased approximately 467% month-on-month thanks to the launch of the DLC, which is confirmed to be the only post-launch expansion for the critically acclaimed fantasy-RPG. As a result, Elden Ring went from no.19 to fourth place on the All Format Chart, according to the latest GSD data, although EA Sports FC 24 and Grand Theft Auto V continue to dominate the chart.

The difficulty of Shadow of the Erdtree has attracted a lot of criticism from the fan base, although Helldivers 2’s game director has jumped to its defence in a recent post on X.
