FromSoftware‘s Yasuhiro Kitao has revealed during an interview with Jagatplay that Elden Ring will feature watchtowers that act as a means of helping players uncover smaller dungeons.
These structures sound similar in function to the various towers that are ubiquitous in modern open-world games, such as Assassin’s Creed, which popularised the art of scaling a large building to reveal part of the map.
Players are indeed likely to miss some of these small dungeons in The Lands Between, especially during exploration. But relax, we’re also implementing some ways to help you find these dungeons.
