Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Remastered now official for PS4, Xbox One

The newly surfaced rumors of a remastered version of Game of the Year-winning Elder Scrolls V have proven true.

The vast outreaches of Tamriel are now accessible on next generation consoles, packed with the endless quests and dragon-rich narrative that franchise fans know and love. Completing the package of performance improvements and graphical overall is the inclusion of all downloadable content alongside the game, those packs being Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn.

Some of the additions:

– New water and snow shaders

– Improved textures

– Mod support on consoles

– Dynamic field of view

– Space safe reflection

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Remastered is set to release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One Oct. 28, so with the massive enhancements to gameplay and the addition of custom mods to the overall game, Skyrim will be even bigger and better than ever than their last-gen counterparts on the new hardware and players won’t have to wait too terribly long to jump back into the world of Tamriel.
