Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is scheduled for release exclusively on PlayStation 4 on March 18, 2016. Naughty Dog recently explained its decision to step away from the action-adventures series, which has sold over 21 million units to date worldwide since its debut in 2007 on PS3. Among the new features included in Uncharted 4 will be optional dialogue choices, something which will be offered during key moments in the game. They won’t, however, offer the same freedom as open-world games due to the linear nature of Uncharted’s storytelling.
Uncharted 4 takes place a few years after the events of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, and sees fortune hunter Nathan Drake on a globe-trotting quest to claim a legendary pirate’s treasure. Nate will be joined in his latest adventure by long-time mentor, Victor ‘Sully’ Sullivan, and his older brother, Sam.
