Curve Studios has lifted the lid on a brand new 2.5D action-platform romp by the name of Explodemon!, which is scheduled to hit PlayStation Network in Q4 2010.
According to the developer, the game has been heavily influenced by Japanese retro classics on the SNES, and has gamers utilizing the eponymous hero’s explosive nature to battle enemies and solve a variety of puzzles.
Designer director Jonathan Biddle commented: "We’re really excited to finally be able to reveal Explodemon! to the world," adding, "The game is chock full of gameplay nuggets carefully mined from the greatest titles ever to grace our joysticks. Whether you’re experiencing its intense combat, head-scratching puzzles, or classic platforming, you’ll find we’ve combined all of these elements into an addictive and elegantly balanced package."
